In 2007, the Military Science Department created a Brick Walk at the entrance for current and former students of Illinois State University's Redbird Battalion, to leave a lasting legacy to the ROTC program. The brick walk is a beneficial way of leaving a tangible piece of evidence of where students first received their military leadership training on the campus. The bricks cost $100 ($50 for current undergraduate students) and feature the alumnus name and commissioning year class. Cadre members, past and present and trusted friends of our program are also eligible to purchase a brick. Please indicate in the comments portion of your online contribution your preferences for etching. If you have questions, please send a e-mail to arotc@ilstu.edu. Approximately 75% of your donation from purchasing a brick is placed into an endowment that supports the operation of the Military Science Program for educating our future leaders.
