With their exceptional skill, along with endurance, ability, strength and balance, the ROTC Color Guard is as highly motivated as the football team and cheerleaders. In fact they spend a lot of their time presenting the colors prior to every football game. Led by MSG Charles Cannon, the ISU ROTC precision Color Guard Team is sought after for many events. They presented the colors for the NRA banquet in March and the Military Ball in April. The team also was invited to the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in St. Louis.
Interested candidates who are physically fit, meet the Army Height/Weight Standards, look sharp when wearing the military uniform, and have a desire to show our country’s colors should contact MSG Cannon at (309) 438-5988 or .
