Ranger Challenge is called the "varsity sport" of Army ROTC. This team trains in basic infantry skills. Every fall, the team attends a competition against other teams in our brigade. The events that the team competes in are constructing a rope-bridge, patrolling, assembly and disassembly of the M16A2 rifle, the army physical fitness test, day- and night-land navigation, and a 10 kilometer road march.
This team trains separately from the battalion, in order to receive the specialized training needed to succeed in this competition. Anyone is welcome to join the team. If you are interested contact CPT Hannigan or SFC Cooper
